What began as protests on Friday against a construction project in Istanbul, the Gezi Park should 'disappear' for a
shopping center, has now developed into nationwide protests against
increasingly authoritarian policies of the conservative Islamic party
AKP - government.
Already
on Friday and on Saturday night the police used tear gas, pepper spray
and water cannons against participants of the protests.

Turkish
NTV news channel such as CNN Türk and Haber Türk were broadcast live
yesterday, when the police withdrew from the 'Gezi Park' for a short
time.
A little later the police came back again and started to fire the people with tear gas, pepper spray and water cannons.
At the same time the official news channels have interrupted their live broadcasts.
In Ankara, hell seems to be going on and not a single Turkish TV channel reported from there.
Al-Jazeera (bought state broadcast from Qatar) shows live images from Istanbul and Ankara.
Only
the Turkish news agency DHA transmits all the time live images from
Istanbul, which are then adopted by other foreign channels.
One Turkish sender is non-stop live.
Live stream also here (partially)
The
Turkish media can twist the facts as long as they want, ultimately, the
Turkish people woke up and show outrage over the Turkish government in
the social networks and of course also on the street.
Some prominent actors have been present at the protest in Istanbul.
But the protest is not only in Turkey, and in some cities in Germany or in the United States.
The
people in Turkey know, Erdogan is a bought-country traitor, working for
the NWO, USA, NATO, CIA, MOSSAD, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, against the
interests of the population.
Not for nothing, the Bilderbergs met in Istanbul in 2007.
UPDATE: (from a friend in Turkey)
(Sunday)
'In nearly almost every Turkish city thousands of people are on the
street and protest in meanwhile ‘street battles’ against the fucking
cops who act with brutal force against the people.
The only times you have to imagine, the Home Office has announced that the stock of tear gas is consumed.
Within 48 hours !
These assho*** have begun to bombard the people with AGENT ORANGE !

I am proud of my fellow countrymen who still have balls in their pants and go on the road.
If fucking Erdogan would be a real Muslim, he would never serve the Zionists'.
With
all these protests, it is not just about a few trees to be chopped down
in the 'Gezi Park' because of the new project, as some claim.
Many events that have happened in recent times have contributed to the current situation.
The people have enough of Erdogan's dictatorial policies, and now also of the brutal approach of the Turkish police.
Incidentally, there is a presumption that the police should have used 'Agent Orange' and not 'orange smoke grenades.
Essential
that Turkey should withdraw from NATO and get totally rid of the puppet
government, for only the Erdogan's resignation would not make much
difference in the long run.
UPDATE 2:
It is also said, that the construction of a huge Mosque that will hold 30.000 people has contributed to the growing discontent.
There
are up to now 4 dead, hundreds of injured, I just read in Greek blogs
that police violence makes people even more infuriated; they seem to be
really resolved.
The only 'non-purchased media' in Turkey, the report of the protests without censorship:
(use translation)
Halk TV
Ulusal channel
Bengütürk TV
From my friend in Turkey:
'Yesterday
in Athens, a political refugee, a Turkish freedom fighter at the
ongoing protests of the brave Greeks against their government and the
inhuman austerity policy (at Syntagma/Athens - Parsifal) has been
arrested by the police and handed over the Turkish State.
He now sits in prison in Turkey.
This
shows how wonderful the Turkish secret service and the Greek government
to work together and how well Samaras and Erdogan cooperate.
Those who govern us and decide on us without asking us underestimate the power of the people'.
It must be clear these protests is no cointelpro, means made by the CIA but come from the Turkish people's hearts.

Daniel Shays (c.1747 – September 29, 1825) was an American soldier, revolutionary, and farmer famous for being one of the leaders of Shays' Rebellion, a populist uprising against oppressive debt collection and tax policies in Massachusetts in 1786 and 1787.
BILL of rights:
A bill of rights is a list of the most important rights to the citizens of a country. The purpose of these bills is to protect those rights against infringement. The term "bill of rights" originates from England, where it refers to the Bill of Rights enacted by Parliament in 1689, following the Glorious Revolution, asserting the supremacy of Parliament over the monarch, and listing a number of fundamental rights and liberties.
Bills of rights may be entrenched or unentrenched. An entrenched bill of rights cannot be modified or repealed by a country's legislature through normal procedure, instead requiring a supermajority or referendum; often it is part of a country's constitution and therefore subject to special procedures applicable to constitutional amendments. A not entrenched bill of rights is a normal statute law and as such can be modified or repealed by the legislature at will. In practice, not every jurisdiction enforces the protection of the rights articulated in its bill of rights.
Australia is the only Western democratic country with neither a constitutional nor legislative bill of righ, although there is ongoing debate in many of Australia's states. Former Australian Prime Minister John Howard has argued against a bill of rights for Australia as transferring power from elected politicians to unelected judges and bureaucrats. Victoria and the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) are the only states and territories to have a human rights bill.

The Great Charter of Ireland (also known as the Magna Charta Hiberniae) was an issue of the English Magna Carta, or Great Charter of Liberties in Ireland. King Henry III of England's Charter of 1216 was issued for Ireland on 12 November 1216 but not transmitted to Ireland until February 1217; it secured rights for the Anglo-Norman magnates in Ireland. The Charter was reissued in 1217 as in England.
Although it was in effect the application of the Magna Carta to Ireland, with appropriate substitutions (such as "Dublin" for "London", and "Irish Church" for "Church of England"). In 1985 the singer Tommy Makem claimed that the English Magna Carta (and by implication the Great Charter of Ireland) also incorporated aspects of Brehon Law. but it is unlikely that the English in 1216 had any knowledge of Brehon law.
