"We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated Governments in the world - no longer a Government of free opinion, no longer a Government by conviction and vote of the majority, but a Government by the opinion and duress of small groups of dominant men." : Woodrow Wilson

- 10 years ago, if you told somebody that human consciousness alone can have a direct affect on our physical world they would probably look at you like you’re crazy. Today, however, is a different story. Within the past few years mainstream science is catching on to the fact that yes, consciousness is correlated and can have a direct affect on what we call our physical material world.

Experiments over the past four decades have investigated whether human intention alone affects the properties of water. This question has been of interest to alternative medicine research, because the human body is made up of approximately 70% water.

 - Testbiotech, a nonprofit organization started with independent (‘non-biased’) biotech research in mind, recently released a report on the spread of genetically altered plants. The organization says GMOs are spreading throughout the world without any controls in place to stop them. They have escaped their intended areas and are moving into the environment and even infringing on wild plant populations. This is happening everywhere

The Banksters Are Now Setting Up the Crash of 2016

Right now, millions of Americans are still struggling to recover from the 2008 financial collapse.
That collapse was fueled by the housing crisis, when Wall Street banksters were running around betting on risky mortgage-backed securities that they could sell to investors and make billions from.
They were able to do that because the Graham-Leach-Bliley Act and the Commodities Futures Modernization Act had blown up rational banking regulations, and, as a result, we saw things like the so-called mortgage "liar loans".  read more

Rosa Parks famously occupied the seat of a Montgomery bus, an action that sparked a revolution in U.S. racial relations. The Unist’ot’en clan of the Wet’suwet’en now defiantly occupies territory whose location is critical to a proposed new pipeline route. They experience daily surveillance by helicopters that sometimes buzz close over the main cabin of the occupation.

Although the primary purpose of the Unist’ot’en stand is to block pipeline construction, their effort highlights Canada’s long history of attempts to silence, remove and run roughshod over Indigenous peoples who lived across northern North America for thousands of years before settlers showed up. Recent resistance by Mi’kmaq at Elsipogtog in New Brunswick dramatizes the injustice that stretches right across the four thousand miles of the modern state called Canada.

Corporate interests are attempting to drive a set of pipelines through northern British Columbia wilderness, across lands that have never been ceded through treaty. The primary perpetrators in this instance are the Kitimat LNG project (a partnership between Apache Canada Ltd. and Chevron Canada Limited) and Enbridge Northern Gateway Pipelines (a creation of Enbridge Inc.).

Canada’s own legal system says these lands do not really belong to Canada. Yet industry and settler governments show repeated readiness to use subterfuge and illegitimate force to try take over lands that still belong to Indigenous peoples. read more

Pope Francis holding up anti-fracking t-shirts following a meeting with a group of Argentinian environmental activists to discuss water and fracking issues. The shirts read “No To Fracking” and “Water Is More Precious Than Gold.”  Fracking not only competes with people for drinking water all over the globe, but it pollutes the water as well.  What can each of us do to blunt the demand for fossil fuel that is driving the energy companies in their mad race to suck the last carbon out of the earth so that we can burn it and make greenhouse gases that are already causing havoc among vulnerable peoples?

Most Americans think US should 'mind its own business' abroad, survey finds

• First time this specific sentiment recorded in four decades
• Most Americans also believe China is stronger economic power

A majority of Americans believe the US plays a less important and powerful role in the world than it did 10 years ago, according to a long-running study that found that most people now believe America should “mind its own business internationally”.

It is the first time the survey of US foreign policy attitudes has recorded such a sentiment in almost four decades of polling.

The findings, published on Tuesday by the Pew Research Center in association with the Council on Foreign Relations, suggest Americans want their leaders to adopt a less interventionist approach, although there is a growing desire for the development of stronger trade and business links abroad.

some comments on the above article.........there are many, these are but a few.

Jill:  Most politicians and bureaucrats don't give a damn what Americans think so we will continue with the business of trying to take over the rest of the world........

Sam:  Sad but true! Our government gives countless billions to big corporate warmongers every year, so gotta bomb somebody! Either that or just ship our arms to our "good friends and allies" in Israel to do as they please!

It's a tragedy that death and violence seem to be what this country is best at, and that's been true for a long time.

I used to think President Obama would change the system, but in reality the system changed him....

Dave:  You're right. The corporate interest that spent $8 billion on the 2012 election cycle don't care what the American people want. The people that met this year at The Grove Hotel, Hertfordshire, England on June 6th-9th are the ones who pull the strings. Here's a list of string pullers:

http://bilderberg2013.co.uk/participants/

All mention of Bilderberg is blacked out of the US press, so most people here don't even know what's going on......

Blackjack:   We used to believe the US had 'influence and righteousness' , but, Today, WE know the the Truth, We are bullies hiding in bullshit lies!

Brian:  .............with cover ably provided by a totally compliant media, who have failed miserably to even try to be fair and reasonable.

mauman:  whoever would have though that we think the RUSSIAN president is more honest than the American one.

Could not imagine that 10 years ago.

Bush and Obama (Obama more so) have done so much damage, that 50 years of anti-Russia propaganda has been wiped out and we now call it like we see it.......

Onlyobserving:  With US debt and unfunded liabilities currently at over $1.25 million per taxpayer, US can ill afford new wars. Time to close down the 900 bases in 130 countries and focus on making things better at home.

"We're in 130 countries. We have 900 bases around the world. We're going broke." Ron Paul

http://www.usdebtclock.org/

http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2011/sep/14/ron-paul/ron-paul-says-us-has-military-personnel-130-nation/

Wildermiss:
I suspect most of those polled don't even know who Edward Snowden is and couldn't tell you if you asked, although I'm sure they could select their uninformed opinion from a couple of choices given to them.

Americans certainly can't know much of anything about the entire surveillance topic since most American corporate media have engaged in a virtual news blackout except for coverage of personalities and trivial fringe issues which are their stock in trade.

There are many many more negative comments about the US.........over the last year, after the snoden  leaks, The last two presidents, and the literal do-nothing but infighting legislature, have run this country into the ground.  The average citizen is so distracted, apathetic-ignorent-indifferent-don't know-don't care. It is not the average citizens fault because [they] haven't the honest resources to weigh and arrive at the truth, thanks to the corporate consolidation of the propaganda apparatus  \with nothing but embedded functionaries claiming to be journalist. (the real news people are afraid of the dead journalist syndrome, assassinations are the norm, who can blame them)

Folks are waking up exponentially now that many are seeing that those in DC are working for self-interests (wallstreet) as evident by the cuts in social programs and the continued expansion of the misnamed department of defense, should be labeled the department of offense..............a useless eater is one that inherited loot from daddy/ and too greedy to help this/their country or the people. Parasite cowards hiding behind wealth and mercenaries, they are, or liken to a metastasizing cancer that needs to be excised.....the poor have no choice:  starve, fight or die because when all is taken from us we are free to lose nothing.  The threshold has been breached, we have reached the tipping point. All the commons need is 3.5% of us to stand up and take back what is ours, we will, we shall, me must for survival.    kosmicdebris...........
