America is false to the past, false to the present, and solemnly binds herself to be false to the future.

"The foundation of all Mental Illness is the unwillingness to experience legitimate suffering." Carl Jung

"The masses have never thirsted after truth. Whoever can supply them with illusions is easily their master; whoever attempts to destroy their illusions is always their victim". Gustave Le Bon;"The Crowd"

"As a people, Americans are remarkably familiar with all facts which make in their own favor. - Whatever makes for the wealth or for the reputation of Americans, and can be had cheap! will be found by Americans.

America is false to the past, false to the present, and solemnly binds herself to be false to the future.

Your celebration is a sham; your boasted liberty, an unholy license; your national greatness, swelling vanity; your sounds of rejoicing are empty and heartless; your denunciations of tyrants, brass fronted impudence; your shouts of liberty and equality, hollow mockery; your prayers and hymns, your sermons and thanksgivings, with all your religious parade, and solemnity, are, to him, mere bombast, fraud, deception, impiety, and hypocrisy - a thin veil to cover up crimes which would disgrace a nation of savages.

Go where you may, search where you will, roam through all the monarchies and despotisms of the old world, travel through South America, search out every abuse, and when you have found the last, lay your facts by the side of the everyday practices of this nation, and you will say with me, that, for revolting barbarity and shameless hypocrisy, America reigns without a rival:

There is not a nation on the earth guilty of practices, more shocking and bloody, than are the people of these United States, at this very hour." - Frederick Douglass, "What to the Slave is the Fourth of July?" 5 July 1852

BlazingLightNet - I’m the first to admit it seems to be tough to get off our butts sometimes and do or be what’s right. It’s a continual struggle. We’re all human and have the same battles, trials, tests and temptations.
The really ironic thing is that when we’re struggling we’re missing the point right out of the gate.
When we’re struggling it’s time to transcend what’s going on around us and get conscious. When we respond consciously it immediately gets easier. While being fully here and Now is the objective and this realization is complete unto itself, there’s a very practical daily path that leads to fully living this realization and all the life changes it implicates.

The most controversial amendment to the Bill of Rights is also the most confusingly worded

Chief Joe Pell, Cameron Poe, and someone named Anon wisdom i rob for free.

There's only two men I trust. One of 'em's me, and the other's not you. What if I told you 'insane' was working fifty hours a week in some office for fifty years at the end of which they tell you to piss off; ending up in some retirement village hoping to die before suffering the indignity of trying to make it to the toilet on time? Wouldn't you consider that to be insane? Larry? Well, of course you can't reach him! He's off saving the rain forest or recycling his sandals or some shit; pissing on forest fires! New age foreplay: I got spot for you on my arm and peritoneum. Was I scared! I must have lost fifty pounds, all of it brown. I have to shock to get a response these days. My rebellious youth has served me well. I use to love to shock folks over thirty with my long hair back in 1973. The ones that disrespected me the most where mostly ones that had crud on their grills. We got two cigarettes for walking to the store and getting mom a pack of victory for fifty-five cents. We had a coughing Marlboro man and we buried him. I have been a left-handed man in a right-handed mans world and it has made all the difference. There is no such thing as 'part Cherokee.' Either you're Cherokee or you're not. It isn't the quantity of Cherokee blood in your veins that is important, but the quality of it...your pride in it. I have seen full-bloods who have virtually no idea of the great legacy entrusted to their care. Yet, I have seen people with as little as 1/500th blood quantum who inspire the spirits of their ancestors because they make being Cherokee a proud part of a their everyday life. Only when the last tree has withered, and the last fish caught, and the last river been poisoned, will we realize we cannot eat money. I am filled with pride when I think of the noble and exalted world that must have existed before Christian doctrine caused men to look upon women with suspicion and bade them to think of angels instead. Today, we mourn the passing of an old friend by the name of Common Sense.Common Sense lived a long life, but died from heart failure at the world trade towers. No one really knows how old he was since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He selflessly devoted his life to service in schools; hospitals, homes, factories and offices, helping folks get jobs done without fanfare and foolishness. For decades, petty rules, silly laws and frivolous lawsuits held no power over Common Sense. He was credited with cultivating such valued lessons as to know when to come in from rain, the early bird gets the worm and life isn't always fair.Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you earn), reliable parenting strategies (the adults are in charge, not the kids), and it's okay to come in second.A veteran of the Industrial Revolution, the Great Depression, and the Technological Revolution, Common Sense survived cultural and educational trends including feminism, body piercing, whole language and new math. But his health declined when he became infected with the "if-it-only-helps-one-person-it's-worth-it" virus. In recent decades, his waning strength proved no match for the ravages of overbearing federal legislation. He watched in pain as good people became ruled by self-seeking lawyers and enlightened auditors. His health rapidly deteriorated when schools endlessly implemented zero tolerance policies; when reports were heard of six year old boys charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; when a teen was suspended for taking a swig of mouthwash after lunch; when a teacher was fired for reprimanding an unruly student. It declined even further when schools had to get parental consent to administer aspirin to a student but couldn't inform the parent when a female student is pregnant or wants an abortion. Finally, Common Sense lost his will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband, churches became businesses, criminals received better treatment than victims, and federal judges stuck their noses in everything from Boy Scouts to professional sports. As the end neared, Common Sense drifted in and out of logic but was kept informed of developments, regarding questionable regulations for asbestos, low-flow toilets, smart guns, the nurturing of Prohibition Laws and mandatory air bags. Finally, when told that the homeowners association restricted exterior furniture only to that which enhanced property values, he breathed his last.Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents Truth and Trust; his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son Reason. His three stepbrothers survive him: Rights, Tolerance and Whiner. Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone.
I would rather be right and in the light than inside the politically correct ring of hell. I think the moral messages I pass on help me to see things a different way. Two moons in your two moccasins, else I got no insight how to fix a broken me, you or anything. I can only flip my love and pay it forward.
Rise with the sun to pray. Pray alone. Pray often. The Great Spirit will listen, if you only speak. My God is binary 10 equals 2, there is One or the absence of One. So again the binary moral of the story: There are two kinds of people: givers and takers. The takers eat better, but the givers sleep better. Wa do
